Vivas started at the IMG Academy basketball program as a coach in 2012 as a Summer Coach and has made a smooth transition to head coach after the summer program. Danny is also a former graduate of the IMG Academy basketball program in 2008 and wanted to come back to help the program that helped him develop into the player/ coach he is today.

Mahoney came to the IMG Academy basketball program in 2012 and is helping to coach the Post-Graduate teams. He has an extensive list of colleges and high schools that he has coached at and he's looking forward to bringing all of that knowledge and experience to IMG.

Prior to joining IMG Academy in 2004, Coach Nate Van der Sluis was a four-year letterman for the Miami University of Ohio’s Division I Men’s Basketball team. Van der Sluis captained the team as a senior and finished his career ranked 10thon the school’s career blocked shot list with 41. Standing at 6’11”, Van der Sluis is larger than life in both stature and coaching ability.

Fitzgerald came to the IMG Academy basketball program in 2010 and helps to coach the Post-Graduate teams. He has an extensive basketball career, as he played shooting guard in both high school and college and won back-to-back state titles with Piney Woods High School in Mississippi. He has been coaching for over eight years and has worked with several AAU leagues.

Kenny Natt started as the Director of Basketball at the IMG Academy in the summer of 2012. Natt brings exceptional coaching and player development experience to IMG from over 15 years coaching in the NBA. Prior to coaching in the NBA, Natt was drafted by the Indiana Pacers in 1980 and spent nine years playing professionally within the NBA, CBA, and WBL. Natt arrived at IMG after serving as the Head Coach for the India National team and the Basketball Federation of India.

Kyle Cancellieri joined IMG Academy in 2012. Kyle is responsible for the Baseball Camp and Wood Bat League Sales. After graduating high school locally in 2004, Kyle went on to play baseball for 4 years at the collegiate level. He brings firsthand experience to the program after attending multiple IMG Academy baseball program camps while growing up in the area.

Kit Carlson joined IMG Academy in 2008 and is current a Student-Athelte Advisor.
In 1991 Carlson began coaching his son in Little League in Southern California. Moving to Florida in 2000, he coached in both 14U and 16U travel divisions. Additionally he was a member of the Board of Directors, Director of Player Development, and supervised the upper divisions of Southwest County Little League (now West Boca Youth Baseball). In 2002 and 2003 he coached with the South Florida Bombers, a team that in 2002 was the AABC/Mickey Mantle 16U Florida State Co-Champions.

Nick joined the IMG Academy baseball program as Business Manager in 2005. In this capacity, Nick oversees all aspects of the business side of the baseball program. He develops and manages the budgets, forecasts and reconciles revenues, as well as supports marketing and public relations efforts.

Coach Crabbe joins our staff after an illustrious collegiate and professional career. Callix played his collegiate baseball at Manatee Community College. He was drafted by the Atlanta Braves but did not sign. After his time at MCC, he signed with the Milwaukee Brewers. He was a Rule 5 Draftee by the San Diego Padres and had a stint in MLB. Callix finished his career playing with the Seattle Mariners and Toronto Blue Jays. He will focus on Infield Development at IMG Academy.
