The Midwest League is usually the first step into full season baseball for a lot of guys. Located in the northern part of the country the early part of the season can be more difficult as the weather isn’t the friendliest and that tends to help the league be a little more pitcher friendly than it is hitter friendly. The Midwest League saw some great prospects come through the league last year as Neftali Feliz, Derek Holland, Mike Moustakas and Ben Revere all spent time within the league.
