Josh Fields recently spent 6 weeks training at Athletic & Personal Development program to gear up for MLB Spring Training. He focused on the total athlete development program offered by Athletic & Personal Development program, which includes physical conditioning, mental conditioning, nutrition, sports medicine, regeneration, communication, and leadership training.
Fields signed a one-year deal with the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday, January 25. At the start of Spring Training this past weekend, he has already delivered. As of today, Fields is batting .250 with an on-base percentage of .400 through 4 at-bats. According to SportingNews.com: âBack from a knee injury, 26-year-old Josh Fields is expected to win the job at third base.â
After hitting 23 homeruns in100 games during 2007, Fields is projected to bat 8thin the line-up. Since working with IMG Performance specialists Stacey Daniels (physical), Trevor Moawad and Josh Lifrak (mental), Dr. Sally Parsonage (nutrition), Kevin Murdoch, PT (sports medicine), and Steve Shenbaum (communication), Fields should be more than prepared for his impending new title as Chicago's starting third baseman.
