At the beginning of yesterday's 2-0 win against Honduras in the Gold Cup, seven of the U.S. men's soccer team starters shared a common, Bradenton-related bond.
Freddy Adu, Kyle Beckerman, Chad Marshall, Michael Parkhurst, Heath Pearch, Santino Quaranta and Robbie Rogers have all spent time training on the IMG Academy campus.
Quaranta, who spent two years on campus, scored the game-winner in the 75th on a beautiful build up by the Americans.
This is just another reason that IMG Academy is the best all-around sports academy in the world.
See the 4:42 mark below for some video of Freddy Adu training (and singing) with the on-campus Athletic & Personal Development program.
