As one of only six players to post a final round in the 60s, IMG Academy golf program alum Paula Creamer shot up the leaderboard to finish tied for 6th at this past weekend's U.S. Women's Open.
Creamer's final-round 69 left her four shots behind winner Eun Hee Ji, who finished at even par.
Three other IMG Academy Leadbetter golf program students endured qualifiers to earn their way into the tournament, and two made the cut.
Mika Miyazoto played solidly through all four rounds and finished T-57 with a 15-over. Carolina Llano finished in 71st with a 23-over.
Fifteen-year-old Victoria Tanco, playing in her second U.S. Women's Open, missed the cut with rounds of 76-80, but gained more invaluable experience to carry with her in what looks to be a tremendously promising career.
