The teams for the 2009 Ping Junior Solheim Cup have been announced.

The event, to be played Aug. 17-19 at Aurora (Ill.) Country Club, features 12 girls from U.S. against those from Europe. The junior girls will play their competition preceding the Solheim Cup which will be played Aug. 21-23 at nearby Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Ill. The 12 players on the U.S. team were selected based on a combination of the AJGA's Polo Golf Rankings and the Golfweek/Sagarin Junior Rankings as of July 20.

Two DLGA golfers were selected to compete.
