Here is a tip on INTENSITY from coach Brian Gottfreid:
"While working with a group of about 10 junior boys today I saw that the intensity level during the warmup was not very high. After 15 minutes the coaches pulled the players back onto one court and had 2 of the same players demonstrate the first drill. During the demo I saw the intensity level of the players improve greatly. It dawned on me that the reason their intensity level improved was because the players didn't want to look bad in front of their peers. So when the demo was finished and it was time for the players to go back onto their drill courts I told them to imagine that they were playing on the center court at the US Open with 26,000 people watching. That will keep your intensity level and focus where it should be."
