For Lithuanian Ricardas Berankis, the center court of The Wimbledon Championships is just one win away. Today, the 19-year old Berankis defeated Dan Evans of Great Britian 7-5, 6-3 to advance to the final round of qualifying at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. Although the dreams of a British player was crushed in the defeat, IMG's hopes for Berankis continue to rise as his 2010 season blossoms.
This time last year, Berankis was ranked 484 in the world. His success this year shows that he is certainly an up and coming young star and someone to watch for on the ATP Tour. Look out world, Berankis could hit the top 100 very soon!
