Imagine the suspense leading up to the 2010 NBA Draft. The nail biting, the nervous shaking of the leg and possibly pacing back and forth. No doubt this is a very joyous but nerve wrecking moment in any potential draft picks life. Players reminisce to when they first were introduced to the game maybe they where in diapers holding a ball as big as them. To remembering sitting on the porch as a young kid telling all their friends 'I'ma be professional ball player one day'. As they go to sleep at night with the ball in the covers with them, dreaming of dunking or shooting the game winning three pointer. They think about how their love grew for the game, maybe having an older sibling that used to dominate them up and down the court. Flash back to high school or prep ball when they had that "Jordan-esque" moment where no shot was missed, no error was made and defense was solid which constituted in victory for their team.
All the practices, late night drills, free throw shots, suicides, stadium runs..etc. simply all the blood, sweat and tears from any given player all in effort to see their dream of playing basketball come to fruition is on the line tonight.
