Derrick Locke, former running back and receiver for the University of Kentucky Wildcats, was recently featured by local news outlet WKYT in Lexington, Kentucky addressing his training at IMG Academy.

Former Wildcat Derrick Locke has never shied away from telling anyone within earshot what he wants to do now that his college days areover: Locke is bound and determined to play in the National Football League.
A message on Locke's Twitter account says:"just finished my career at UK...now working for the biggest interview of my life..NFL"
Locke currently is at the IMGAcademy in Brandeton, Fla. Kim Berard, the Head of Public Relations for IMG Academy, confirms Locke is enrolled in their NFLCombine Training Camp.
According to the IMGAcademies web site, the IMGPerformance Institute has trained 23 first-round draft picks.
In an email, Berard writes that Locke attended a mock combine, where the Academy collects initial data on the players in attendance.
She also writes that while at IMG, Locke will receive not only position-specific training and physical conditioning, but instruction on nutrition, commuications and interview training, mental conditioning and vision training.
IMG's staffincludes former NFLquarterback and HeismanTrophy winnerChris Weinke and speed coach Loren Seagrave.
IMG boasts that ithas worked with many of the NFL's greats over their years to prepare them for their Combine experience, including Drew Brees, Anquan Boldin, Eli Manning and LaDainian Tomlinson.
In recent posts on his Twitter account, Locke says he's attended an acting class, which he says helps with the interview process.
Locke, known for his blazing speed, also said in a recent post that he might be able to run a 4.2 second 40-yard dash while at IMG.
