IMG Junior Golf Tour adds Bite Tech, Inc. to growing sponsor roster

The IMG Junior Golf Tour continues to grow and add sponsors for the 2011 season

BRADENTON, Fla. (August 24, 2011) - Today the IMG Junior Golf Tour announced that Bite Tech, Inc. will join sponsors Under Armour, Power Balance and the National Collegiate Scouting Association (NCSA), as the Tour readies for its second season.

Recently named by Fast Company as one of the Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Sports, Bite Tech, Inc. devotes itself to improving human performance and optimal health through the use of drug-free performance mouthwear. In 2009, Bite Tech partnered with Under Armour to introduce custom-fit ArmourBite Mouthpieces to help athletes of all kinds get better, faster and stronger. Most recently, the two companies debuted a line of retail boil-and-bite mouthpieces to reach an even broader athlete base. Studies have shown that use of the patented mouthwear increases strength, speeds up reaction time, as well as reduces both athletic stress and impact on the athlete.

Under the terms of its agreement with the IMG Junior Golf Tour, Bite Tech will serve as the title sponsor of the ArmourBite Open at Eagle Creek Golf Club on October 22-23. Additionally, the brand will have an on-site presence at all 2011 tournament events. ArmourBite Mouthpieces will be given away to tournament participants throughout the season for Tour victories, significant performance achievements and milestones. An ArmourBite Mouthpiece will be awarded to players who demonstrate the greatest improvement in performance between rounds one and two of each event (greatest stroke differential), which is fitting with Bite Tech's mission to help athletes improve their performance.

The IMG Junior Golf Tour season kicks off at The Ritz-Carlton Members Golf Club in Bradenton, Fla., September 23-25, 2011. Registration is open for both Tour membership and individual events. Tournaments are open to boys and girls ages 11-18 (11-14 & 15-18 age divisions for both boys and girls). AJGA Performance Based Entry status is also available.

Tour membership for the 2011-2012 season is $149. The membership package includes:

$100 certificate good towards any golf program or camp at the IMG Academy golf program in Bradenton, Fla.

$50 discount on tournament entry fees for each tournament throughout the season.
