IMG Academy golf program alum Paula Creamer was not on the winning side in Ireland at the Solheim Cup, but she did account for 3.5 of the United States' 13 points.
Creamer started the tournament off winning her first team match-up paired with Brittany Lincicome. The second set of matches saw Creamer paired with U.S MVP Morgan Pressel. The combination of Creamer and Pressel beat the European team of Davies and Reid.
Creamer's third match, paired with Cristie Kerr, ended in an all squared tie against Matthew/Munoz. On Saturday afternoon Creamer was again paired with Lincicome. The duo again was successful beating the European team of Hjorth/Munoz.
Going into this year, Creamer had never lost a singles match during the Solheim Cup. This year the record did not improve and Creamer lost her first singles match to Catriona Matthew. The loss was not only the first of her Solheim Cup singles career but her first loss of this year's tournament.
In the end, The United States team played well but did not have enough to hold back the European team with revenge on their minds.
