Laetitia Beck leads the Duke University Blue Devils to an ACC Championship.

For the second straight year, Duke University has won the ACC Women’s Golf Conference Championship, their eighteenth championship overall. The team dominated the competition, winning by 24 strokes over the likes of N.C. State, Florida State and Virginia. The final was played at the 6,210 yard, Par 71 at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. The Blue Devils posted rounds of 293, 292 and 297 despite the high winds and hard Bermuda greens.

Leading the charge was IMG Academy alumna, Laetitia Beck, who placed second on the individual leader board with rounds of 74, 73 and 72 for a total of 219.  Beck had a team-best 27 putts in the final round and was only two shots back from first place. Beck is never satisfied though, and even told Duke University Athletics, “I was not happy with the way I played this week." Thanks to another championship, Beck and her teammates will get the opportunity to play better in the NCAA Tournament, May 21-24 at the University of Georgia Golf Course.

A native of Israel, Beck attended IMG Academy from 2006-2010. Beck earned many honors while attending IMG Academy including: the 2010 Verizon Junior Heritage, 2009 winner of Israel Junior and Ladies Championships and was voted Most Valuable Player by her peers, to name a few.
