IMG Academy hosts a variety of English As a Second Language programs for our international visitors, campers, Academy participants, and community members. The IMG University & Language Center administers these English programs.
Intensive English Program: The ULC directs the Intensive English Program which is open to all ages and levels of English. School-aged children ages 12 & above as well as parents can enroll in this full-time academic program (I-20s are available for student visas). Post-grads are also eligible to enroll to prepare for entrance into an English-speaking university. TOEFL preparation is available for advanced students. This program is most commonly paired with an Academy sport program. This program is also open to community members who wish to enroll in a full-time academic English program.
Sport + English Camps: The ULC also houses the sport + English camp programs, including our summer camp programs (15 hours per week of English activities paired with a sports program). Tourists to the USA who wish to visit IMG Academy can supplement their sports camp with additional English classes (purchased by the week). Camp English is available almost every week of the year and is open to parents and family members as well.
Adult English Programs: Certain English programs are open to members of the community who are not enrolled in the IMG Academy prep school program with sport participation. Please see “Adult English Programs” for information on how to join our academic community. We also encourage parents of our Academy students to enroll in our part-time English programs.
