NEW YORK (December 16, 2013) – IMG, the global sports, fashion, and media company, announced today a new relationship with Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), the No. 1 hospital in orthopedics, as ranked by U.S. News & World Report (2013-14) and a leader in rehabilitation. Together the two industry leaders will provide a robust athlete rehabilitation program focused on diagnosis, treatment, accelerated injury recovery, and injury prevention, while collaborating to take the area of sports rehabilitation research and innovation to the next level.
Steve began at IMG Academy in October 2013 as a Strength & Conditioning Coach, responsible for Lacrosse and Athletic & Personal Development while assisting with golf and tennis. Prior to his time with IMG, Steve worked as Strength & Conditioning Coach for Lemoore Jr. College, working with wrestling and soccer. Additionally, Steve owned his own business, training athletes of numerous high schools and various sports like football, baseball, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and tennis, throughout the Central Valley in California, winning several valley championships.
Justin comes to the Mental Conditioning team with an array of experience and enthusiasm. He is a member of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) and does work as a consultant for the American Samoa National Olympic Committee. He completed his Masters in Exercise Science from the University of Utah with an interest in the nature of peak performance. He opened up his own performance consulting business, and trained clients from the NFL, Dancing With the Stars, Division I universities, and business professionals.
