IMG Academy Bollettieri Tennis student-athletes have been putting up impressive results all over the world at ITF events. This week at the Grade 5 Amman International Tournament in Jordan, OJ Singh and Lalita Devarakonda of India took the doubles competition by storm, winnign four consecutive matches as they won the doubles title. In the final, Singh and Devarakonda, seeded third, knocked off the fourth-seeded team of Luciana Rabines (USA) and Emilie Schwarte (GER), 6-2, 6-3.
Legendary tennis coach Nick Bollettieri, founder of the Bollettieri Tennis program at IMG Academy, has had a hand in the development of 10 World No. 1 tennis players, including Maria Sharapova, Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras, and Venus and Serena Williams. Today, top professionals such as Kei Nishikori and Heather Watson continue to call IMG Academy their training home.
