Women's Basketball Signs Point Guard From Japan
BATON ROUGE -- LSU women's basketball head coach Nikki Caldwell has received a National Letter of Intent from Rina Hill, a 5-foot-7 point guard from Nagoya-Shi, Japan, as part of the NCAA regular signing period on Wednesday.
Hill comes to LSU as a standout guard at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. While at the prep school, she led the team to a 38-8 overall record this season. Hill was a member of the Japan U18 National Team, which finished second at the Asian World Championships. She attended high school in Japan prior to attending prep school at IMG Academy.
