IMG Academy Golf program alumnus Clark Robinson, a member of the Class of 2013, did not take long to make his mark on the college game. Clark signed with Marshall University, and helped lead the Thundering Herd to its first victory in 13-years this month at the 13th annual John Piper Intercollegiate in Bowling Green, Ohio, Sept. 15-17. Robinson, a native of South Windsor, Conn., ended in a tie for 10th after a four-stroke improvement from Day One, in which he ended in a tie for 16th.
IMG Academy Golf program alumnus Cheng-Tsung Pan, a member of the Class of 2011, has emerged as one of the top men's collegiate golfers in the game today. Pan currently sits at No. 14 in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings and reached as high as third-place in the most recent U.S. Open in June. Teddy Tetak is one of the rising stars in the IMG Academy golf program. The 13-year old added to his list of accolades over the weekend with a big win in the Boys 15-18 division of the Tampa Bay Jr. Open, held in Wesley Chapel, Fla., Sept. 14-15. The native of Slovakia carded a nine-over 149 (73, 76) to secure a one-stroke victory over David Baker of Weddington, N.C. at the end of the two-day event. Tetak finished with 25 pars for the weekend and a field best of 3.1 scoring average on par three holes.
Tulane's Gemma Dryburgh, a member of the IMG Academy Golf program Class of 2011, represented her home country of Scotland at the prestigious 2013 Ladies British Open Stroke Play Championships and posted a 12-under effort to post a runner-up finish at Old Prestwick, the home of the Open Championship, in Ayrshire, Scotland.
The Towson men's golf team set a new school record for single round team score by shooting a 274 on Sunday en route to winning the 2013 Navy Fall Invitational. Freshman Juan Veloza, a member of the IMG Academy Golf program Class of 2013, shot a six-under 65 on Sunday, the third best single round score in Towson golf history. Veloza, playing just his second round as a Tiger, finished in fourth-place overall in the 53-person field.

The first stage of LPGA Q-School took place at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif., Aug. 27-30. The Top-100 and ties all earned a place for the second stage of Q-school, and eight IMG Academy Golf program alumni were among those to continue their journey toward an LPGA Tour card.
IMG Academy alumnus Nicolas Echavarria, a member of the Class of 2012, shot an astounding 12-under 58 in a qualifiying round for the Arkansas Razorbacks last week. Echavarria was playing at Fayetteville Country Club, which is home to a Par 70 at 6900 yard course.
