About Nonalee Davis
Before joining IMG Academy, Nonalee was a professional stuntwoman for several years which helped her develop an insight into the demands faced by competitive athletes and performers. She has worked with world renowned companies such as Cirque du Soleil and Dragone international performance teams in Las Vegas and Orlando. Nonalee has directed shows for the largest event for Universal Studios Orlando (Halloween Horror Nights), and was the Artistic Director of a successful Children’s Theatre. She has written, directed, performed and produced material for theatres, live shows, theme parks, radio, television and film. Nonalee was also a professional safety scuba diver for live shows and an underwater videographer for the Georgia Aquarium. She has her Master of Arts in Theatre from the University of Central Florida and her Bachelor of Science in Communications from Western Carolina University.
Nonalee has taught all over the country on personal presence, improvisation, voice, movement, acting, directing, stage combat, and weapons. In her new role she is looking forward to using this knowledge to help prepare our student athletes develop personal presence, confidence, social skills, awareness and teamwork. She has designed the leadership curriculum to train students in the art of improvisation, to help allow them to trust their instincts and make quick decisions in situations.
