Athletic & Personal Development program welcomes Tamba Hali of the Kansas City Chiefs and Matt Jones, formally of the Jacksonville Jaguars, to campus. Both athletes will take part in our NFL veteran training experience this week. They started today with an introduction to all that IMG Academy Athletic & Personal Development programshas to offer and began their physical conditioning sessions with Corey Stenstrup and Dave Langworthy.
Hali is a defensive end that was the 20th overall pick out of Penn State in the 2006 NFL Draft. Having fled war-torn Liberia at age 10, Hali has used his experiences as a serious motivator in his success as a football player.
Jones, a college quarterback, was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars as a wide receiver in the first round (21st overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft. Jones is using his time here at IMG Academy Athletic & Personal Development programsas a springboard back into a strong career with the NFL.
Stay tuned for updates throughout the week on their training.
