At the IMG Academy 2-week Youth Basketball Camp, young players receive the same elite on-court training experience that all of our Academy and collegiate/NBA players receive, including off-court training from our Athletic & Personal Development specialists, only with a greater emphasis on the fundamentals. 

The 2-week Youth Basketball Camp uses proven techniques to help the younger players develop position-specific movement patterns and skills. This includes using an age-appropriate basketball and lowering the height of the basket (when needed), which allows players to develop movement patterns quickly and more efficiently, allowing for constant positive growth and eliminating bad habits. 

The curriculum of the youth camp focuses on the fundamentals of the game with the purpose of giving young players the foundation of skills and techniques necessary to help them excel as they expand their development as an athlete and as a basketball player.   

All 2-week Youth Basketball Camps come with Total Athlete and Core training options:

Total Athlete: Includes all elements of the Core Sport Camp, plus one extra hour per day of Mental Toughness, Nutrition, Speed/ Movement, Leadership Training, Vision/ Reaction Training on a rotating basis. 

Core: Includes all basketball elements, including position-specific drills and scrimmaging, plus one extra hour per day of group Physical Conditioning or Mental Conditioning and college recruiting education.

  • Advanced training model utilized by IMG Academy athletes and teams
