About Mike Parsons
Parsons’ background includes over thirty-eight years of coaching and teaching experience at all levels of the game of soccer. In 1998, Mike was selected to serve as the first full-time Director of Coaching Education for the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Parsons has been a member of the NSCAA Coaching Academy instructional staff since 1989. As a collegiate coach and recruiter, Mike had the opportunity to assist with University of Notre Dame men’s program in their rise to national prominence. He has also coached at Penn State, the University of North Carolina–Greensboro, Stetson University, Methodist College, and Old Dominion University. Mike has worked with a multitude of youth clubs – select and recreational – as a Director of Coaching and Player Development. In addition, he has been involved as a coach with the US Olympic Development Program with players in four states.
