IMG Academy welcomes John Albert Mansour, Jacob Mansour, Charles Schneider and Alex Chavez to the weekly football camp and IMG ALL-MADDEN Mini-Camp this summer.

John Albert Mansour is a sophomore from Austin High in Austin, Texas. As starting QB, he was named offensive MVP in the 8th and 9th grade. John Albert directed his team to a 7-1 record in 2010 and a 9-1 record in 2011. In 2010, the team was undefeated in conference play and sole AIPL champions. He was also the only freshman to make the junior varsity team. As an incoming sophomore this season, John Albert will be a quarterback on the varsity team.

“My experience working with Coach Weinke and the staff at IMG Academy earlier this year was as strong of a learning experience as I've had in my high school football career,” said John Albert Mansour. “I'm excited to bring along my teammate and cousin and look forward to training alongside and competing with some of the top athletes in the country.”

John Albert's cousin, Jacob Mansour, will begin his senior season at Westlake High School in Austin, Texas. Jacob, an inside linebacker, is one of six returning starting players to the Westlake Varsity Football team this season. During his junior year, Jacob made the All-District first team for Westlake and was honored as an Academic All-District 15-5A. He had 75 tackles and was included as a “Player to Watch” in Dave Campbell's Football Magazine. In addition to football, Jacob is a member of the high school weightlifting team and was a member of the varsity wrestling team his freshman and sophomore years.

Joining the Mansours is Charles Schneider, a senior from Austin High School in Austin, Texas. Schneider started varsity mid-season as a sophomore, catching six passes and scoring the only touchdown in his first game. Since then, Schneider has started in 17 varsity games as both a tight end and inside linebacker. As a junior, he was named to the All-District second team as tight end. Off the field, Schneider is a two-time Academic All-District and a member of the national honor society.

The boys are joined by Jacob's teammate and friend, Alex Chavez, a junior from Westlake High School. Chavez was added to the varsity roster last season and will start this year as a varsity running back. During his time at the football camp at IMG, Chavez worked on improving his footwork and learning new routes.

“It's been great, I really like [IMG>,” said Chavez. “I've definitely learned new routes and improved my fundamentals.”

The IMG ALL-MADDEN Mini Camp invites elite-performing high school football players to participate in three days of position-specific drills, structured 7-on-7/11-on-11 scrimmages and classroom education focused on the installation of basic schemes and concepts taught at the next level to prepare athletes for a future in football.
