Smith and fellow IMG Academy-trained QB Tyler Wilson turned out for a late-night throwing session yesterday evening with IMG Academy QB coach Chris Weinke at a nearby facility. They were joined by a contingent of their RB training peers: Tommy Bohanon; Zach Line; and Montee Ball, all of whom took to the field today.
Also today, the WRs hit the field for their series of drills. Justin Hunter clocked in ninth in the 40-yard dash with a 4.44. He topped the pack with both his vertical at 39.5" and broad at 11'4". Training peer DeAndre Hopkins had the best hands while running routes on the field.
Meanwhile, SMU DE Margus Hunt, a former junior world champion in the hammer throw, began to showcase his incredible athleticism to teams. The underrated player topped the entire field on the bench with 38 reps. Tomorrow, he will take to the field for the remainder of the drills.
