IMG Academy Golf program alumnus Clark Robinson, a member of the Class of 2013, did not take long to make his mark on the college game. Clark signed with Marshall University, and helped lead the Thundering Herd to its first victory in 13-years this month at the 13th annual John Piper Intercollegiate in Bowling Green, Ohio, Sept. 15-17. Robinson, a native of South Windsor, Conn., ended in a tie for 10th after a four-stroke improvement from Day One, in which he ended in a tie for 16th. Robinson, who shot two rounds of two-over 74 on Monday, shot a two-under 70 in Round Three.
While a student at IMG Academy, Robinson he earned the title at the Preserve Golf Club while playing on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, and also had two second place finishes at the Laurel Oak Golf Club and the LPGA National while participating on the IMG Junior Golf Tour.
