Korda turned professional in 2010 and finished runner-up LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament. She competed in 20 events in 2012, making 16 cuts, earning 2 top-10s, including a sudden death playoff victory at the ISPA Handa Women’s Australian Open.

Prior to turning professional, Korda had a successful amateur career. She was a member of the 2010 USA Curtis Cup team and 2009 USA Junior Solheim Cup team, She won the 2010 South Atlantic Amatuer Championshipand made the cut at the 2008 and 2009 U.S. Women's Open Championship. She also finished runner-up at the 2010 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship.

As a junior, Korda was named AJGA All-American First Team in 2010, 2009 and 2008. She became the Czech Women’s Amateur Champion at age 13, an age at which she also became the youngest player to make a cut on the Ladies European Tour (2006 OTP Bank Ladies Central European Open).
