The IMG Academy 2-Week Lacrosse Camps provide youth players the opportunity to build a strong foundation in the fundamentals of the game.  It is a heavily instructed camp to ensure each player can demonstrate the proper technique and skill to enable them to play competitively at their level. Coaches provide an encouraging and structured environment based around the following:

Week 1: Establish a strong foundation in the fundamentals, individual skills and techniques of lacrosse.  This includes stick-handling, stick protection, shooting, passing and catching in all situations, and ground ball technique.  These skills and techniques will be taught to encompass players of all skill levels (from beginners to advanced players).

Week 2: Continue to build strong foundation in the fundamentals and individual skills and techniques while introducing a player-centric capacity to make read and react decisions with the ball and off the ball.  Introduction to traditional lacrosse offensive and defensive sets to gain a better understanding of the team game.

2-Week Lacrosse Camps can either be Core or TOTAL ATHLETE. Core camps include all lacrosse fundamentals, situational training, scrimmaging, and tactical training, plus one extra hour per day of group Physical Conditioning or Mental Conditioning and college recruiting education. TOTAL ATHLETE camps include all elements of the Core Sport Camp, plus one extra hour per day of Mental Toughness, Nutrition, Speed/ Movement, Leadership Training, Vision/ Reaction Training on a rotating basis.

Includes all lacrosse fundamentals, situational training, scrimmaging, and tactical training, plus one extra hour per day of group Physical Conditioning or Mental Conditioning and college recruiting education.

  • Mentorship throughout the camp from one IMG Academy veteran lacrosse coach
  • Internal competition
  • Daily training and an environment that offers the ideal mix of pratice and competition to better your game
  • Advanced training model utilized by IMG Academy athletes and teams
