IMG Academy 3-Week Summer Lacrosse Camps are tailored to the development of the lacrosse player (ages 10+) of all ability levels. Building on the foundational curriculum provided in our one-week lacrosse camps, all players will experience three weeks of the Core lacrosse training camp that includes all lacrosse fundamentals, situational training, scrimmaging, and tactical training, plus one extra hour per day of group Physical Conditioning or Mental Conditioning and college recruiting education. You can also upgrade to the TOTAL ATHLETE camp which includes all elements of the Core Sport Camp, plus one extra hour per day of Mental Toughness, Nutrition, Speed/ Movement, Leadership Training, Vision/ Reaction Training on a rotating basis.

You also have the option to spend a half-day on the lacrosse field and a half-day in the classroom with our 3-Week Lacrosse Camp + Education. Educational options include SAT Prep, ESL classes or TOEFL Prep classes. These are Core lacrosse summer camps. 

Players that participate in our 3-week Lacrosse Camps will be able to demonstrate:

  • a solid foundation in the individual skills and techniques of lacrosse. This includes stick-handling, cradling, stick protection, dodging, shooting, passing and catching in tight situations, and ground ball technique. These skills and techniques will be taught specific to each position and emphasized in both the field and indoor (box) settings.
  • a player-centric capacity to make read-and-react decisions on-and off-the-ball. Concepts will be developed using traditional lacrosse offensive and defensive sets, as applied in the field and indoor (box) settings, as well as applications for emerging and advanced innovative concepts.
  • a capacity to capitalize on transition, unsettled and uneven situations using a high-pressure, up-tempo mindset and approach.

Foundation of all Training Programs

Emphasis on comprehensive athletic development

Includes all lacrosse fundamentals, situational training, scrimmaging, and tactical training, plus one extra hour per day of group Physical Conditioning or Mental Conditioning and college recruiting education. 

  • Recommended for all athletes ages 10 and up
  • Includes all elements of the Core Sport Camp, plus one extra hour per day of (delivered on a rotating basis):
    • Mental Toughness
    • Nutrition
    • Speed/Movement
    • Leadership Training
    • Vision/Reaction

The model used by IMG Academy players that provides the ultimate combination of training and organized competition. Includes elements of TOTAL ATHLETE Camp, plus:

  • Mentorship throughout the camp from one IMG Academy veteran lacrosse coach
  • Internal competition
  • Daily training and an environment that offers the ideal mix of pratice and competition to better your game
  • Advanced training model utilized by IMG Academy athletes and teams
