Building upon the recent launch of the IMG Academy lacrosse program and hiring of lacrosse legend Kevin Finneran, the Academy recently added to the program with the hire of Tony Ventiquattro.
Formerly the Director of Operations for Rhino Lacrosse, Ventiquattro will serve as a coach and the Lacrosse Academy's business unit manager.
"I am extremely excited to join Coach Finn and the IMG team and look forward to helping take lacrosse to the next level," Ventiquattro said. "Based on the growth of the sport of lacrosse as well as the success of the academy, I feel as though the timing could not be better for adding a lacrosse academy. The combination of facilities and our staff will truly make IMG Academy lacrosse program the ultimate training destination for any and every lacrosse player."
A high school All-American while playing at powerhouse Carthage High School in New York, Ventiquattro went on to play two years of varsity lacrosse at UMass and SUNY Cortland.
"I'm excited to welcome our first official IMG Academy lacrosse program staff member, Tony Ventiquattro," Finneran said. "Tony will be responsible for the day-to-day business operations of the IMG Academy lacrosse program and will also be a valuable addition to our coaching staff. He comes from a tremendous family of lacrosse, as his father has built a dynasty at Carthage High. Tony's passion and knowledge of the game, as well as his ability to promote lacrosse at the grassroots level, will help develop the IMG Academy lacrosse program both on and off the field."
