IMG Academy's summer lacrosse camp features international talent and esteemed coaches

Doubling in size in just one year's time, the lacrosse academy is in the midst of a busy summer featuring lacrosse talent from around the world and dedicated college and professional coaches. Among the coaches joining the IMG Academy's summer camp program is:

Bill Bjorness, the lacrosse head coach at Hartwick College, was a three-time All-American at Rochester Institute of Technology, and led Divisions 1 & 3 in points his sophomore year. He previously coached the Iroquois National Team for five seasons, making him one of the only individuals to coach a national team for more than a couple seasons, while simultaneously leading the program at Hartwick, where he has been for the past 14 years

IMG Academy attracted him because of “its mission to build the complete athlete, mentally and physically.” His knowledge and experience with all aspects of the game will allow him to help campers in all positions reach their full potential.

In addition to Bjorness, other coaches include Marty Ward (head coach of Florida Southern), Johnny Mouradian (head coach/GM of the National League Lacrosse franchise the Philadelphia Wings) and Mark Burnam (former national champion at Syracuse and former Iroquois player).
