After recording his first-ever Big League hit last Thursday, IMG Academy baseball program Alum, Tyler Pastornicky, launched the first home run of his Major League career last night against the Houston Astros. Pastornicky battled through a 10-pitch at bat in the 4th inning vs. Astros' pitcher Kyle Weiland.
With the count full at, Pastornicky turned on a 92 MPH fastball, sending it over the left field wall for a solo home run. The Braves would go on to the win the game, 6-4. Click the link below to watch the video of Pastornicky's 4th inning home run.
