One of the most highly recruited quarterbacks of the 2010 signing class, A.J. Derby, has decided to transfer schools. Derby signed with the Iowa Hawkeyes of the Big 10 Conference on National Signing Day 2010. However, Derby will enroll Coffeyville Community College (KS) to seek more playing time, and an opportunity to be immediately eligible at another BCS school after January 2013.
