All Laurel Springs Upper School core courses are four-year college preparatory courses certified by various accrediting organizations. More than 160 courses meet the course requirements of the NCAA, and our self-paced academic year provides student-athletes the flexibility they require for individual coaching, tournaments, and travel. This is why 2021 graduates were accepted at 59% of NCAA Division I Schools.
Laurel Springs student-athletes have ongoing access to placement management counselors ready to provide a continuous internal review process for college-bound student-athletes, as well as valuable guidance on NCAA eligibility; staying on track for meeting academic requirements; and using resources specific to their unique search for the opportunity to play their sport at the college level.
Summer with Laurel Springs
The Summer Program is an opportunity to experience the same mastery-based approach to learning and high-quality curriculum we offer full-time students, while at IMG camp.
Student-athletes can complete year-long courses in just 12 weeks and semester-long courses in only six weeks. Either way, our self-paced approach to learning matches IMG Academy campers’ lifestyles, ensuring their training can coexist with academics—all year long. Student-athletes can work ahead, gaining what they need to feel confident about entering their next grade level or preparing for a busy fall season.
Classes start weekly throughout the summer. IMG Academy campers receive waived registration fees for the Laurel Springs School Summer Program.
