Tara Gelston

Tara, a native of Hayward, California, graduated from the University of California, San Diego, with a Bachelor of Arts in History, minoring in Spanish Literature and Latin American Studies. Tara brings with her 17 years of teaching experience. Prior to IMG, Tara taught middle school, high school and AP Spanish classes for 10 years at Contra Costa Christian Schools in Walnut Creek, CA. In addition, Tara has taught at an elementary and middle school in Pennsylvania, she was a dual immersion teacher in Valley Center, CA, and she also taught ESL to Mexican students and professionals for a year in Mexico City. Tara has spent the last three summers grading Spanish language AP exams in Cincinnati, Ohio.
