Educational Programs & Details

Our collegiate-style, goal-oriented summer school program, provided by Florida Virtual School and accredited through AdvancED, allows campers to dedicate equal time to academics and athletics. Students follow an online curriculum in proctored classrooms with IMG faculty to monitor progress, answer questions, maintain pacing, and liaise with the online teacher when necessary.

Core academic subjects, including English, Math, Science and Social Studies, are NCAA approved core courses, however, students should verify with the Registrar at their school that credit earned from Florida Virtual School will be accepted. Our summer school offering is a great addition to any 3 or 5-week sports camp for campers looking to earn .5 to 1 credit.

In addition to renowned sports training, IMG Academy offers English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, camps, and programs. Whether you’re just beginning to learn English or you’re preparing for College entrance exams, IMG Academy can tailor an ideal learning experience to help you succeed. Our experienced instructors are certified in ESL and excited to help you improve English proficiency skills through a series of highly interactive programs on vocabulary, grammar and speaking.

For athletes getting ready to take the SAT college entrance exam, IMG Academy offers classes to prepare them for the test material and offer techniques to help them take it with confidence. Whether an athlete is taking the test for the first time or wants to retake it to improve their scores, we can tailor our training to meet your specific need. We employ a mix of critical thinking strategies, test-taking tips and topic-specific lessons to ensure that every athlete leaves feeling prepared for the test. Athletes can balance a half a day of premiere athletic training with a half day of test prep during any of our camp sessions.

We also integrate Prepworks Learning Positioning System® technology to deliver prescriptive instruction in multiple subject areas. Students and their parents will have access to the Prepworks app for virtual tutoring, educational content and individualized lesson plans to prepare for IMG's test prep course, or continue their studies after course completion.

As an official TOEFL test site, we understand the hard work and dedication needed to pass it. Athletes can prepare for TOEFL testing at IMG Academy with 15 hours of English classes/TOEFL prep classes during each week of camp. Classwork is balanced with a half-day of sports training with IMG Academy's world-renowned training programs and coaches. Our TOEFL programs are designed to be immersive, fun and (most importantly) effective. IMG’s certified instructors are highly experienced in working with athletes to help them prepare for the TOEFL test, and understand how to help them stay focused.
