Christian Harrison is the youngest member of the ATP top-400 after three strong finishes in the U.K.

IMG Academy' s Christian Harrison is now the youngest player ranked in the ATP Top 400 singles Rankings. In 2012, Harrison jumped nearly 500 spots, and has continued to rise in 2013, currently sitting at No. 387. This new ranking comes on the heels of three strong finishes across the pond in the United Kingdom. In the past month, Harrison reached the semifinal at the Great Britain F1 Futures (Jan 15-19); the final at the Great Britain F2 Futures (Jan 22-26); and earned his first professional singles title at the Great Britain F3 Futures (Jan 29- Feb 2).

In the Great Britain F1 Futures held in Glasgow, Scotland, Harrison had a strong start winning in straight sets in the round of 32 and 16. In the quarterfinals, Harrison lost the first set, but battled back to win, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2. In the semifinal, Harrison faced Great Britain's Marcus Willis, but couldn’t repeat his quarterfinal heroics, dropping the match, 1-6, 6-7(2).

The Great Britain F2 Futures was held in Preston, England. Harrison took his experience from his semifinal run in the F1 Futures, and made an impressive run to reach the final. Unfortunately, Harrison lost in a tough three-set match, 6-2, 3-6, 5-7.

The Great Britain F3 Futures, held in Sheffield, England, saw Harrison battle through two, three-set wins and two tie-breaks to reach the final against Edward Corrie (GBR), who he had faced just a week prior in the final at Preston. Harrison took the first set 6-4, but Corrie stormed back for a 2-6 win to force the third and final set. What a finish it was, as Harrison mustered a 7-6(5) win in the final set to claim the singles championship.

Harrison has improved to 7-2 overall in main draw singles in 2013. He is the younger brother of fellow IMG Academy trainee Ryan Harrison, ranked No. 57 ATP, and coached by his father, Pat Harrison
