IMG Academy Golf program alumnus Tommy Mou, a member of the Class of 2009, scored a big win in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia late last week. Just two months after turning pro and playing only his second event on the MENA Golf Tour, Mou won the American Express Dirab Golf Championship at the Dirab Golf & Country Club. Mou took home a $9,000 share of the total pot of $50,000 against a field of professional and amateur players hailing from 26 countries. The Taiwan native won the event with an 11-under 205, edging out Duncan Stewart of Scotland by a single stroke.
A member of the Class of 2009, Mou ranked as high as 21st in the Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings, won the 2009 Florida Public Links, and put his name on the map as a top prospect following a terrific 2007 that included five top-10 finishes in AJGA Major Tournaments.
