How long have you been playing tennis for?
I am 15 years old and I really started playing in sixth or seventh grade
Who is your coach?
Coach Pat Haley.
What is your favorite thing about IMG Academy and why?
Definitely the ability to come out and play with such a diverse group of players, both skills-wise and ability-wise. Also the coaches are there to help you out when you need something. Plus, the friends you make.
Do you have any pre-game rituals that help you prepare for a big game?
I always mentally prepare. I will warm up and stretch then picture myself doing great things and they try to go and perform the best I can.
What professional athlete inspires you the most?
Derek Jeter. I have lived in New York City a long time, and Jeter is a great leader and everyone respects him on and off the field.
What is your favorite thing to do after you win a game?
Celebrate with the team. Talk about what we did right but also focus on what we did wrong and correct them for the next game.
What motivates you to push through a tough practice?
I don’t focus on it. I play every drill and every rep the same. You can’t focus on that you have to just play through it.
