Donald Suxho was born in Korce. In his early childhood, he played different sports from soccer, basketball, track and field then started his volleyball career at age 12. Donald's father was also a setter, coached Albanian national team and the city's pro team Skenderbeu. At age 15 Donald earned Albanian's best Hitter at their youth national event, as well as best Setter at Balkan Championships in Turkey. in 1995 Donald's family emigrated to Boston to escape war torn country, chaos and fall of communism His family resided in Natick, MA where Donald started working a variety of jobs from washing dishes to selling Dunkin Donuts at night. His love and passion for the game kept his dreams alive to one day become word's best setter. Not being able to play high school or club Donald reached out for guidance to local church, schools on how to become more involved within Boston's volleyball community. Donald's persistence paid off, as his family and Harvard College coach reached out to a variety of colleges and USC finally awarded him a full scholarship. Below is the rest.
