Tymrak was selected in the second round by FC Kansas City in the 2013 National Women's Soccer League draft. Tymrak, midfielder and U-23 National Team pool player, has snagged numerous awards in her time at the University of Florida such as two-time NSCAA First Team All-America, three-time All-SEC First Team, NSCAA All-South Region first team, Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Year, All-SEC first team selection, SEC Tournament MVP, Soccer America MVP first team selection, MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist and among candidates for Senior CLASS Award. Erika appeared in 22 matches with 21 starts. Tymrak is Florida's leader with goals (9), assists (12) and points (30). She is tied for third on Gators' career charts in assists (40).

She received her bachelor's degree in Criminology from the University of Florida in December of 2012.
