As an alumni of IMG Academy from Mexico City, Mexico, Daniel played collegiate basketball at Ave Maria University for four years where he graduated with a degree in Economics.

At the international level, he played for the Junior Mexican National Team at the 2007 FIBA Centrobasket U17 Championship and 2008 FIBA Americas U18 Championship.

Daniel served as the Junior Varsity Head Coach at IMG for the 2012-2013 season. For the past two years, he has led international basketball clinics in Panama, Mexico, Brazil, and the U.S. working with athletes from the youth to professional level. Daniel has also assisted and trained several NBA and Euroleague players at IMG.

Through the study of basketball, team dynamics, statistics, behavior, and incentive, Daniel hopes to continue developing a system of econometrics that will provide better information to coaches and expand the understanding of player development in a team environment.
