Kaitlyn Deshaies

Kaitlyn joined IMG Academy five years ago as the Athletic Trainer for the basketball program, managing their care from 2011-2013. Following the establishment of the IMG lacrosse program, in August 2013, Kaitlyn transitioned to the Athletic Trainer to help start the program. In 2015 Kaitlyn was promoted to Assistant Head of Athletic Training where she is responsible for assisting in staff management, and daily operations of athletic training services across campus. Kaitlyn established IMG’s first team orthopedic screens and assessments as well as incorporating a preventive program for athletes in the Lacrosse program to decrease athlete to injury ratios. In addition to her passion for a preventative approach to sports medicine, Kaitlyn’s background as a Physicians Extender gives the Athletic Training program a specialized skill set to acute sports medicine care.
