Since arriving in Bradenton, Fla., from Manchester, England, 20-year-old Rachel Connor has quickly moved up the golf ranks, becoming a force on the Duramed Futures Tour.
As the development tour for the LPGA, the Duramed stint could soon lead to a spot on the world's top tour, but not without a little help from the IMG Academy golf program.
From the Manchester Evening News story:
She said: "At the IMG Academy we have a daily system of golf which began at 7.30am, followed by a combination of short game work, mental conditioning and physical training in the Performance Institute.
"But, IMG is everything it has been made out to be, it's the world's toughest playground and I love it.
"And, after working there for a year, I am still inspired to return every day.
"Each morning I know I am going to be around people who are passionate and knowledgeable about the game and as my fitness coach would say they want us to âget better every day'."
