It was new school teamed up with old school when Ryan Harrison and John McEnroe joined forces to play tennis in in the land down under this past week.
Held in Adelaide, Australia, Harrison, a budding American star, and tennis-legend McEnroe each played singles and doubles tennis in the four team event against opponents Europe, Australasia, and team International. When the dust settled, Team America came out victorious.
Harrison now hopes to make some noise in the main draw of the Australian Open. Ryan earned his wild-card spot in the Open by winning the USTA Australian Open Wild Card Playoff in Atlanta, Georgia this past December.
