Six IMG Academy Bollettieri Tennis student-athletes sign National Letters of Intent

William Bushamuka, a five-star prospect according to TennisRecruiting.net, was one of six IMG Academy student-athletes to sign a National Letter of Intent during the early signing period

During the early NCAA National Signing period, four IMG Academy Bollettieri Tennis student-athletes signed an NCAA National Letter of Intent to their respective colleges at a special ceremony held on National Signing Day, Wednesday, Nov. 13.

The signees include:

Alexandra Baer (Virginia Beach, Va.) signed with the Michigan State University women’s tennis program. Baer is regarded as a four-star prospect and the No. 2 overall player from Virginia in the Class of 2014, according to TennisRecruiting.net. Notably, Baer won the Girls 16s doubles title at the 2012 Eddie Herr International Junior Tennis Championships, and is a member of the National Honors Society and Student Activities Committee. 

William Bushamuka (Princeton, N.J.) signed with the NCAA No. 9 ranked University of Kentucky men’s tennis program. Bushamuka is a five-star prospect and the No. 5 overall prospect from New Jersey in the Class of 2014, according to TennisRecruiting.net.

RunHao “Leo” Hua (Shanghai, China) signed with the University of Michigan men’s tennis program. Hua is the No. 6 overall player from China in the ITF junior rankings (No. 215 overall, internationally).

Mark Ihrig (Munster, Ind.) signed with the University of Denver men’s tennis program. Ihrig is considered a four-star prospect and No. 1 overall player from Indiana, according to TennisRecruiting.net.

Lamar Remy (Roslyn, N.Y.) signed with the University of Wisconsin men's tennis program. Remy is currently ranked No. 285 nationally in Boys 18s, won the Boys 16s doubles title at the 2012 Eddie Herr International Junior Tennis Championships and is regarded as a four-star prospect according to TennisRecruiting.net. 

Toshiki Matsuya (Redmond, Wash.) signed with the University of Illinois men's tennis program. Illinois is as perrenial NCAA ITA top-25 program, and Matsuya is regarded as a five-star prospect and the No. 3 overall player from the Northwest, according to TennisRecruiting.net. Additionally, Matsuya won the ITF Grade 4 Saitama Junior and Copa INDES Internacional ITF Junior singles titles this year.,
