IMG Academy trainee Alfred Morris, the Washington Redskins' sixth-round selection out of Florida Atlantic, is emerging as quite the late round gem. Morris' 376 yards on the ground has him leading all rookies in rushing, and 5th-overall among all players. Running backs Doug Martin (22nd-overall pick, Tampa Bay) and Trent Richardson (3rd-overall pick, Cleveland) rank 3rd and 4th in rushing among rookies, which is good for 17th and 20th overall in the League, respectively. Morris is also leading all rookies in attempts (82 car.), yards per game (94.0 ypg) and tied for first in rushing TDs among rookies with his teammate, QB Robert Griffin, III (4 TDs).
Against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4, Morris recorded his first career 100-yard rushing game (113 yards) and notched his fourth touchdown in four games. Prior to the game, the Bucs were ranked first in the NFL in defending against the run.

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill rallied his team, passing for a career-high 431 yards on 26-of-41 passing, with one touchdown and two interceptions. Tannehill led a spirited effort against the undefeated Arizona Cardinals, but fell late in overtime.
Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson was 17-of-25 passing (68%)for 160 yards in a loss to the St. Louis Rams.
Kansas City Chiefs OL Jeff Allen, the team's second-round selection out of Illinois, was promoted and recorded his first start on the offensive line in a loss to the San Diego Chargers.
