After committing to Auburn University in early March, IMG Academy basketball program's Brian Greene Jr. has signed his National Letter of Intent to attend school and play basketball for the Tigers. After an impressive post-grad year at IMG, the athletic guard landed on Tony Barbee's 2012-2013 roster.

Said Greene Jr., “The overall intense day-to-day schedule here at IMG has truly prepared me for the required disciplined schedule at the next level. I came here with offers only from smaller schools, but I worked hard, put up a lot of shots and got a lot of repetitions in, and with the help of the great coaching staff here I was able to develop into the player that I wanted to be. I am extremely excited to go to Auburn; it has always been my dream to play big-time basketball, and it is finally here.”

At February's 3rd annual Beach Blast Tournament hosted by IMG Academy, Greene showcased his talents to numerous coaches from around the country, while competing against some of the nation's best. With his all-around outstanding play, Greene was selected as a member of the 2012 Beach Blast All-Tournament team.

Greene enrolled at the IMG Academy basketball program following his high school graduation to continue his development and prepare for the transition to collegiate ball. With IMG's state-of-the art facilities, in combination with its knowledgeable and experienced coaches and trainers, Greene was destined for success.

Remarked Loren Jackson, Post-Graduate Head Coach, “Brian Greene was a player that had Horizon League offers when he first came to IMG and now he is off to the SEC to do great things. He had all the pieces - we just helped him complete the picture.”

Aubrey Williams Jr.

Fellow IMG Academy basketball program student Aubrey Williams Jr. also signed his Letter of Intent to play for the Toledo Rockets in 2012-2013.

Williams averaged 17 points and 11 rebounds this season as a post-grad training under IMG Post-Graduate Head Coach, Loren Jackson.

The 6'6” forward turned 17 in February and graduated from St. Vincent Pallotti High School near Baltimore at age 16. He skipped the third and seventh grades, meaning he was the age of a sophomore when he averaged 19 points and 12 rebounds in his senior season. This past year at IMG has been the best year of his life, he has said, as he used the abundant resources available to him to ironout his flaws and become mentally stronger: “I can honestly say if it wasn't for IMG I couldn't see myself being in the position I'm in right now.”
