A record number of 20 IMG Academy trained athletes were selected in this year's NFL Draft. Many of them progressed far enough during the preseason to earn early playing time, and make their professional debuts in Week 1. None shined brighter than Washington Redskins running backAlfred Morris and New York Jets wide receiverStephen Hill. Alfred Morris made his debut against Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, racking up 96 rushing yards on 28 carries (3.4 average) and two touchdowns in a 40-32 upset of the defending NFC South champs.Hill recorded an impressive 89 receiving yards on five catches (17.8 yard per catch) and two touchdowns in a crushing 48-28 win over the division rival Buffalo Bills, and earned a nomination as the Pepsi Max Rookie of the Week.

Cordy Glenn made his debut as the starter at left tackle for the Buffalo Bills. Glenn did not allow any sacks, and contributed to running back C.J. Spiller's 169 rushing yards on 14 carries - an average of over 12 yards per carry, in a loss to the Jets.
Luke Kuechly debuted as thestarting weakside linebacker for the Carolina Panthers, logging four combined tackles in a loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Russell Wilson earned the starting nod at quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks in the preseason, and went 18-for-34 passing for 153 yard, one touchdown and one interception in a loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
Corey White started at cornerback in place of the injured Jabari Greer for the New Orleans Saints, recording four tackles and one special teams tackle in a loss to the Washington Redskins.
