Event Overview

The IMG Academy Ascender Classic is an elite level showcase attracting talented high school basketball teams to play at the prestigious IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. The showcase is played over the course of two days with each team guaranteed to play at least two games in brand new, state-of-the-art facilities.

Over the past few years, The Ascender Classic has cemented itself as a premier high school basketball showcase bringing in talented teams from all over the nation for a weekend full of competition. The showcase plays host to over 100 college coaches and NBA Scouts and has been a popular visit on the recruiting trail. We are looking forward to welcoming another year of unrivaled competition.

The Ascender Classic is a "stay-to-play" tournament. Every team participating must either stay at the IMG Academy Legacy Hotel, IMG Academy campus housing, or book through our travel agency, On Location.
