Event Overview
From May 2nd – May 8th, 2027, some of the world’s newest talent will meet at IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL for the 2027 IMG Academy Discovery Open. This international tennis event brings a jam-packed week of high level training and evaluation, sanctioned UTR matches, special events and activities, and an invite only tournament group competing for a grand prize of a wild card into the qualifying rounds for the esteemed IMG Academy International Tennis Championship November 24th – December 6th, 2026 at IMG Academy.

Competition Format
Discovery Open Tournament (U12, U14, and U16)
The tournament group will include Boys’ and Girls’ U12, U14, and U16 divisions. The match format will be best 2 out of 3 sets regular scoring, with a 10-point super tiebreak in lieu of a third set. Players are guaranteed 4 matches. All matches are UTR sanctioned. Grand prize includes a wild card into the qualifying rounds for the esteemed IMG Academy International Tennis Championship November 24, 2026 – December 6, 2026 at IMG Academy. *An application is required to participate in the tournament but does not guarantee entry. Regardless of acceptance, all players will be guaranteed 4 UTR matches.
